Did you know that people all over remote regions in Indonesia rely on Mercy Radio for their news, entertainment, and encouragement?

Our radio network has become part of the daily routine of thousands of people in the nation. Many children have also been brought to several of our Mercy orphanages after people discovered more about us from the radio station.

So, this week, we’re putting all our Radio Dian Mandiri (Mercy Radio) supporters and workers under the spotlight.

On October 24, 2023, the award was received in Dallas in appreciation for the loyal service of all the staff, crew, and partners of the Mercy Radio Network.

A big thank you to all our Mercy Radio supporters and department heads for helping to spread good news across Indonesia and being a light in the dark for everyone who tunes in!

He Travelled 50km (31 mi) Just to Say Thank You!

Mr. Lamek, from Bena Village, had been a passionate listener of Radio Mercy FM Soe for several years.

One day, he decided to travel a distance of approximately 50 km just to say thank you and show his appreciation to the broadcasters by giving them fruits and vegetables.

He told staff simply, “I am so blessed by the programs that you broadcast.” Not wanting him to leave empty-handed, our radio staff gifted Mr. Lamek a new solar radio he could use to listen to his favorite Mercy FM SOE programs.
