Changing Lives in Remote Villages

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me- Matthew 25:40

The Positive Impact of Social Media on Poguwatu Village Praise God!

We’ve been ministering and aiding the remote village of Poguwatu for several years now. Since then, we’ve used social media to raise awareness about their needs.

One of the positive impacts of social media is that it’s bringing government attention to the Village.

Last week, we received a visit from the Vice President's Team from Jakarta, the Deputy Regent of Central Sumba, the Head of the West Sumba Military District Command, and the Head of the Mamboro Subdistrict.

During this visit, we were able to directly address the pressing needs of the Poguwatu community, such as:

  • Clean Water

  • Damaged roads

  • Electricity

  • Church buildings

We pray the government will promptly address the concerns raised for the common good. We are so grateful for this opportunity to introduce the Mercy Indonesia Foundation and share its work for the Poguwatu community. The government also expressed its appreciation for our help.

Distribution of Goods for the Children of Mercy Teluk Dalam, Nias

Praise God, the children of Mercy Teluk Dalam, Nias, received food packages from the Grass Wave team.

This assistance is invaluable in meeting the children's daily needs. Thank you to the Grass Wave team for their concern. May God reward you with abundant blessings.
